It seems as I get older and more mature, Christmas and the holiday season changes in meaning for me.  When I was a kid, it was hard for me to sleep for days up until Christmas Eve, just wondering about what gifts and trinkets Old Saint Nick was going to bring me that year.  But as times goes on, it becomes less and less about gifts, although I LOVE gifts and receiving things…..It’s more about being thankful.

I’m just happy that I have a family and people in my life that show me love and support me.  And with the recent events that have been occurring within American society, this season is taking on a whole new meaning and putting a lot of things into perspective for myself and I’m sure many people out there.

So, with that being said, what are you looking forward to or hoping for this Christmas?

I know for me, I would like to see some snowfall, go to The Festival of Lights here at the Cincinnati Zoo, hookup with friends and spend time with my family.  But some snowfall would definitely do the trick, because this lukewarm weather just ain’t cutting it.

And maybe I’ll even luck up on some Sephora Hello Kitty surprises from Old Saint Nick.  Because I believe I have been GOOD, but sometimes it’s also good to BAD.  😉
